Dehradun: Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has instructed all government personnel to register on iGOT digital platform for online training of capacity development under ‘Mission Karmayogi’. She has clearly said that it will be mandatory for all personnel to register. Also, 100 percent target has been asked to be achieved in a timely manner in the matter.
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has asked all departments to immediately conduct programs for information and training on the law related to sexual harassment against women at the workplace. For which the Secretary of Women Empowerment and Child Development has been specially directed.
Apart from this, she also instructed the secretaries and heads of departments of all departments to conduct information and awareness training programs for the beneficiaries of the public welfare schemes being run under their department. So that more and more people can easily take advantage of the public welfare schemes.
CS Radha Raturi held a review meeting with the secretaries and heads of all departments along with Alka Mittal, member of the Capacity Building Commission (CBC). During this, the Capacity Building Commission was requested to conduct training programs for the newly elected public representatives just like government personnel.
So that they can also get information about administrative processes and schemes. Along with this, he urged that arrangements should be made for training related to information and awareness of all public welfare schemes including developed India for the people.
In the meeting, Alka Mittal, member of the Capacity Building Commission, said that under the Karmayogi Mission, the main focus of the government is on capacity building and training of all government personnel. So far, capacity building schemes have been made for 100 central organizations. 166 institutions have been recognized by setting national standards for civil service training.
