Pankaj Agrawal Assigned Additional Charge of Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry

Pankaj Agrawal, a senior IAS officer from the 1992 Madhya Pradesh cadre and currently serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Power, has been assigned additional responsibilities as Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. This temporary arrangement, approved by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), will be in effect from January 18, 2025, to January 25, 2025. The decision comes as Katikithala Srinivas, the current Secretary of Housing and Urban Affairs, takes a leave of absence during this period.
