Dehradun: Joint Chief Executive Officer of Uttarakhand Film Development Council Dr. Nitin Upadhyay met Director General of Police Deepam Seth at the Police Headquarters and apprised him of the activities of the Film Development Council.
Dr. Upadhyay, while informing Director General of Police Seth about the new Film Policy 2024, said that the police department also plays a very important role in promoting film shooting. A nodal officer has been deployed by the police department in each district for film shooting permission, which is facilitating the permission process. Filmmakers from India and abroad come here to make films, impressed by the peaceful environment and good law and order of Uttarakhand.
Deepam Seth, while praising the Uttarakhand Film Policy, said that the police department will provide all possible support to provide a smooth environment to the filmmakers. He said that soon a joint meeting of all the Superintendents of Police, District Nodal Officers and Film Development Council of the Police Department will be held and detailed discussions will be held on all the aspects related to the police department in the shooting permission process. Seth said that Uttarakhand Police will cooperate in every way to make the state an ideal film friendly destination.
On this occasion, Dr. Upadhyay presented a memento of Uttarakhand Film Development Council and a booklet of the new film policy to the Director General of Police.
