Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has congratulated and wished the people of the state on the auspicious festival of Ram Navami. In his message issued on the eve of Ram Navami, the Chief Minister said that Lord Ram is a symbol of our faith, his ideal character inspires us to move forward in life. The Chief Minister said that the personality of Lord Ram presents an example of qualities like patience, dignity, sacrifice, penance, moral conduct, virtue and philanthropy.
The Chief Minister said that despite being Brahma himself, Lord Ram took human form for the welfare of all of us and presented an example of how the life of an ideal and virtuous man should be. The idealism with which he faced all the difficulties in his life is always an inspiration for human society.
The Chief Minister said that we should try to inculcate the personality of Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram in our lives. The Chief Minister also wished that the holy festival of Ram Navami brings happiness, peace and prosperity in the lives of all of us.
