Dehradun: The date for implementation of Uniform Civil Code in the state of Uttarakhand has been announced. Under which the Uniform Civil Code will be implemented in the state at 12:30 pm on January 27. Along with this, the UCC portal will also be launched. After the implementation of UCC, the state of Uttarakhand will become the first state in the country where UCC will be implemented. After the implementation of UCC, a public awareness campaign will be run to inform the people of the state about the rules of UCC and to apply on the UCC portal. Videos have also been prepared for this.
The people of the country including Uttarakhand have been waiting for UCC for a long time. In such a situation, now the time has come near when UCC is going to be implemented in Uttarakhand. Information about the programs related to the implementation of UCC has also been released. According to the order issued by Home Secretary and Secretary Chief Minister Shailesh Bagauli in this regard, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate the rules and portal for implementing the Uniform Civil Code at ‘Mukhya Sevak Sadan’ located at the Chief Minister’s residence on January 27, 2025 at 12.30 pm.
At the same time, giving information, Home Secretary and Secretary Chief Minister Shailesh Bagauli said that as soon as UCC is implemented, a public awareness program will be run after that. Also told that some video clips have also been prepared for the public, through which people will be made aware. Different videos have been prepared for what provisions have been made in the UCC Act and how to apply on the UCC portal. Also, Shailesh Bagauli said that workshops will be conducted in various universities. Workshops will also be conducted with all stakeholders. So that more and more people can become aware about UCC.
