Haridwar: Chardham Yatra is the economic lifeline of Uttarakhand – CM Dhami

Haridwar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was on a visit to Haridwar today. Where he first attended the inauguration and Pratibha Samman ceremony organized by Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College Sector 2 Ranipur Haridwar. During this, he said that Saraswati Vidya Mandir has been educating children all over the country for a long time. Vidya Mandir and Shishu Mandir are also doing good work in Uttarakhand.

Speaking on Chardham Yatra during this, CM Dhami said that all the preparations are now in the final stage. The works of Chardham Yatra are being reviewed by holding meetings with senior officials from time to time. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that our first priority is to provide security to the devotees coming to Chardham Yatra. Along with this, simple and smooth travel arrangements are also in the priorities of the government. He said that Char Dham Yatra is an economic lifeline for Uttarakhand. He said that we are working on the suggestions of all the religious institutions associated with Chardham Yatra, be it Tirtha Purohit or tourist guide taxi operator.

At the same time, speaking on the opposition going to the Supreme Court regarding the Waqf Board, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the Parliament has taken a very historic decision under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many properties which were stuck for years due to this bill will now be useful for the people and the government.
