Dehradun: After the completion of the Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra in the month of November 2024, the winter Char Dham Yatra is going on in full swing. So far more than 31 thousand devotees have visited the winter Chardham Yatra. At the same time, the Chardham Yatra is going to start in the month of April-May in the year 2025. In such a situation, the Uttarakhand government and Badri Kedar Temple Committee have started preparations for the upcoming Chardham Yatra. In this sequence, BKTC has prepared a booklet and calendar in seven languages about the Chardham Yatra. Which was released by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami yesterday. Apart from this, a meeting of the Chardham Yatra Management and Control Organization is going to be held in Rishikesh on 5 February.
Now only a few months are left for the Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra to begin. This is the reason why the Uttarakhand government has started the exercise to complete the arrangements related to Chardham. The meeting is going to be held on 5 February i.e. today at 11:30 am under the chairmanship of the Chairman of Chardham Yatra Management and Control Organization and Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey. Officials from Police, Health Department, PWD Department, NH, Energy Department, Food Department and departments related to the arrangements of Chardham Yatra will be present in the meeting.
BKTC Media Incharge Dr. Harish Gaur said that the Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra will start from 30 April in the year 2025. Actually, Akshaya Tritiya is on 30 April and on the day of Akshaya Tritiya, the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will be opened for the devotees. Along with this, the date of opening of the doors of Kedarnath Dham will be decided on the day of Shivratri on 26 February, while the date of opening of the doors of Badrinath Dham has been fixed. Under which the doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened for the devotees on 4 May. BKTC has prepared a booklet and calendar for the preparation of Chardham Yatra. The booklet has been prepared in seven languages. All the information related to Chardham has been given in the booklet prepared for Chardham Yatra. On this occasion, CM Dhami said that the calendar and the booklet prepared in seven languages of the country will inspire devotees from all over the country to visit Chardham. Said that the published calendar and booklet will also be helpful in promoting winter travel.
