Workshop organized on Waqf Amendment Act in State BJP office, Dhami said – Use of Waqf properties will be ensured in the welfare of poor Muslim class

Dehradun: In the state workshop of Waqf Amendment Janjagran Abhiyan organized at the state headquarters, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that through Waqf Amendment, the government will ensure that Waqf is used in the welfare of poor, Pasmanda brothers and Muslim sisters. Without religious interference, every inch of the board’s land in the state will be investigated and taken care of. On this occasion, National General Secretary, State In-charge and Member of Central Committee of Waqf Amendment, Dushyant Gautam said, PM houses will be built for poor and Muslim women on whatever Waqf lands are free from illegal occupation.

Detailed information was given about this campaign running from 20 April to 5 May. In the workshop conducted by State General Secretary Aditya Kothari, it was told that we have to take all the aspects of this historic law to the bottom of the society through various programs. So that the Muslim society is also aware of the revolutionary changes that will happen in their lives due to this reform. In this workshop held in two sessions, Chief Minister Dhami discussed the role of governments in this law in the inaugural session and in the second session, state in-charge Gautam discussed all its legal, social and political points. During this, CM Dhami said that under the leadership of PM Modi, the country is taking historic and era-changing decisions, a hallmark of which is the Waqf Amendment Act. Which is based on the principle of Sarvadharma, harmony, harmony, equality, sense of justice and Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Prayas. Earlier, PM Modi has brought all those works on the ground like removal of Section 370 from Kashmir, implementation of CAA and construction of Ram temple, triple talaq, which could not even be imagined. In this sequence, this amendment is in the interest of the country and society and is going to ensure the rights of the poor and stop the intention of whitewashing black money. He assured that no one’s religious freedom will be affected and every inch of land will be investigated and taken care of. He clarified that the poor, divorced and widowed women, orphan children and needy people in the Muslim society will get the most benefit from this law.

He questioned the intention of the opposing opposition and said that despite properties worth lakhs of crores, why the poor were not helped through this. All of us party workers have to convey the detailed information of this legal reform to the general public so that the politics of confusion and fear of the opposition is completely curbed.

Referring to the Waqf properties of the state, he said, about 5700 properties are registered in Waqf. A thorough investigation will be done by making a record of them after complete verification. There is rule of law in the state, so wherever encroachment is found, strict action will be taken against them.

Earlier, our government has brought UCC, strict anti-conversion law, anti-riot law with a view to maintaining the demography and form of the state. Therefore, this amendment law will also be strictly implemented in Devbhoomi and the poor will get their rights.

Addressing the workshop, state in-charge Gautam said that since the inception of Jan Sangh, we are committed to building a strong India. Whatever was felt necessary for the unity of the country and the welfare of the countrymen, we have implemented it in due course of time. Despite lakhs of protests and violent threats, the Modi government removed Section 370 from Kashmir, freed Muslim sisters from pain by bringing the Triple Talaq Bill, implemented the CAA. This Bill Amendment Act is not a new work, rather we have worked to correct the mistakes made by the previous Congress governments in 2013 and 1995. Our clear belief behind this is that anti-national activities in the name of appeasement will not be given preference at any cost. Waqf properties should be used properly for the welfare of the poor, for which we will remove all illegal occupations with this law. Also, on the lines of the UP government, PM houses will be built on such free lands for poor Muslim women, especially divorced and widowed women, orphan children. Facilities like hospitals, educational institutions and community buildings etc. will be developed for the poor society on such properties. He assured that when the society will develop with the Waqf properties freed by this law, then the people who are protesting today will not be able to show their face. PM Modi and BJP have a clear intention that for the creation of a developed India, it is very important for the Muslim society of the country to develop. This Waqf Amendment Act is also going to prove to be a milestone for our such efforts.

Addressing the second session of the workshop, State General Secretary Organization Ajay Kumar shared the outline of this campaign which will run for a fortnight with all the participants. He said that we all have to unite and take the positive discussion of this reformative law to the grassroots. This campaign of public awareness is going to give direction to a large section of the society so that it does not fall into the trap of the misleading opposition. Our effort should be that all the affected parties of this law have correct and detailed information about it so that they can take more benefit from it in the future. He also informed that after the central workshop on 10 April, on the lines of this state workshop, a workshop is to be organized in all the districts between 20 and 22 April, which will be taken to the divisions in the next phase.
