Rudraprayag: Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd.) visited Lord Kedarnath today. On this occasion, he performed special Rudrabhishek and prayers in the temple and sought blessings from Baba for the sustainable development of the entire world, humanity and Uttarakhand. After this, Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd.) reached Badrinath. Here he participated in special prayers after visiting Lord Badri Vishal. He spent about 1 hour in Badrinath Dham.

Governor Gurmeet Singh also met the Tirtha Purohit community, who welcomed him with traditional chanting. He described this occasion as very emotional and spiritual and appreciated the contribution of the Purohit community.
During Rudrabhishek at Baba Kedarnath temple, the Governor prayed for a peaceful world, public welfare, progress of Uttarakhand and the well-being of humanity. After the completion of the Puja, he greeted the devotees gathered in the temple premises and made the atmosphere devotional with the chants of ‘Bolo Baba Kedarnath Ki Jai’. Addressing the devotees, the Governor said, there is no one greater than a Shiva devotee in this world. Governor Gurmeet Singh also inspected the reconstruction and development work going on in Kedarnath Dham on this occasion.
Took information about the master plan in Badrinath
After this, the Governor reached Badrinath helipad by helicopter. Here District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari and Superintendent of Police Sarvesh Panwar welcomed the Governor. The Governor was given a guard of honor by the police. After which the Governor reached Badrinath temple by car.
The Governor took information about the master plan going on in the Dham from District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari. He expressed satisfaction over the progress of Civic Enemy Center, Civic Community Center, Arrival Plaza. The District Magistrate informed that the work of Tourist Management Centre and ISBT has been completed. Governor Gurmeet Singh directed that the work of Shesh Netra and Badrish Lake should be completed. During this, he instructed District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari to regularly monitor the development work being done in the border village Mana.
