Investors interested in tourism and education sector met Dhami, Dhami said – sufficient land is available for setting up industries in the state, work is being done on single window system

Dehradun: A delegation of investors interested in investing in tourism and education sector met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday. Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna was also present on this occasion. The delegation included Prateek Suri, CEO Maser Group, Hemant Maini, UK Head of MDR Investment Company, Aditya Vikram Somani, VP Business Development, Urvashi Sahay, Global Management Consultant.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami assured the investors that a single window system has been arranged for prompt approval of all formalities including licenses in the state. The state government has started a one-stop service for all approvals for setting up businesses. Sufficient land bank is available for setting up industries in the state. The Chief Minister said that the industrial groups are not facing any kind of problem in setting up industries in Uttarakhand. Effective work has been done to establish a strong policy framework for investment in the state and to make the policies investor friendly. The government and administration are establishing effective coordination and dialogue with the investors. The Chief Minister said that the state has immense possibilities of investment in sectors ranging from health to education. The aim of the state government is to stop migration by providing employment opportunities to maximum local youth while maintaining a balance between ecology and economy along with setting up industries in the state.
