E-office will be implemented in all departments, Chief Secretary gave instructions to all secretaries in the meeting of the Secretary Committee

Dehradun: A meeting of the Secretary Committee was held in the Secretariat on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Anand Bardhan. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary instructed all the secretaries to implement e-office in their respective departments. He said that e-office should be implemented in all departments and districts.

The Chief Secretary praised the performance of Pauri district in implementing e-office and emphasized on the rest of the districts, especially Dehradun, Nainital and Haridwar districts, to also do the work through e-office as soon as possible. He also talked about simplifying the coordination mechanism between the government and the directorate under the e-office system.

The Chief Secretary said that all the secretaries should also ensure that the website of their respective departments is updated. He emphasized on updating the departmental websites in the new format prepared through ITDA. He directed that the IT department should provide technical support and training to the departmental personnel for e-office and website update to resolve the problems faced by the departmental personnel in the daily activities of e-office.

On this occasion, Principal Secretary Mr. R.K. Sudhanshu, Mr. L. Fanai, Special Chief Secretary Mr. Amit Sinha, Secretary Mr. Shailesh Bagoli, Mr. Nitesh Kumar Jha, Mrs. Radhika Jha, Dr. B.V.R.C. Purushottam, Mr. Ravinath Raman, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Dr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha, Mr. Chandresh Kumar Yadav, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Neeraj Khairwal, Mr. Dipendra Kumar Chaudhary, Mr. Vinod Kumar Suman and Mr. Ranveer Singh Chauhan along with other senior officers were present.
