Hyderabad: In one of the most significant administrative reshuffles in recent months, the Telangana government transferred and posted 33 IAS officers across various departments and districts on Thursday. The move comes in the wake of the government’s efforts to streamline grievance redressal systems and improve departmental coordination.
Key Highlights from the Reshuffle
Top-Level Appointments–
1996 batch IAS officer Navin Mittal, previously Principal Secretary, Revenue, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Energy Department, relieving Sandeep Kumar Sultania from full additional charge (FAC).
2010 batch IAS officer Harichandana Dasari, R&B Secretary, has been posted as the Collector & District Magistrate, Hyderabad, replacing Anudeep Durishetty.
1990 batch IAS officer Dr. Shashank Goel is now Special Chief Secretary & Resident Commissioner, Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi.
Major Transfers of District Collectors
Anudeep Durishetty has been transferred as Collector, Khammam.
- Vinay Krishna Reddy is the new Collector, Nizamabad, replacing Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu.
Sneha Shabarish becomes Collector, Hanamkonda, replacing P. Pravinya.
- Hymavathi is now Collector, Siddipet, replacing Mikkilineni Manu Choudary.
Other Notable Changes
Lokesh Kumar D.S. was placed in FAC of Secretary, Revenue Department.
- Sridhar posted as Principal Secretary, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, retaining FAC of Mines & Geology.
Dr. Jyoti Buddha Prakash becomes Secretary, SCD Department, also placed in FAC for Planning Department and EO, TGRAC.
