Dhami cabinet approved many important proposals, training of livestock extension officers reduced to 1 year, everyone will get the benefit of subsidy in Animal Husbandry Department

Dehradun: The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has concluded. A total of four proposals have been approved in the meeting. After the cabinet meeting was concluded, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari gave information about the cabinet proposals by briefing.

During the cabinet meeting, the increasing number of devotees in all the temples of the state was also discussed. The government is trying to ensure that devotees reach famous temples of the state including Chardham as well as other mythological temples present in the state for darshan.

During the cabinet meeting, the Tourism Department informed that the number of devotees visiting Kartik Swami temple has increased 4 times this year as compared to last year.

Apart from this, about 4 lakh devotees had come to Jageshwar last year. Whereas, this year so far 6 lakh devotees have come for darshan. Similarly, the number of devotees visiting the Jagannath temple located in Sald village of Uttarkashi district has increased.

4 proposals approved in the cabinet meeting-

1- Approval was given to create a post of Deputy Registrar Audit. This post will be filled for the next five years. Will audit the cooperative society.

2- Artwork work is to be done on the wall of ISBT in Badrinath Dham, which has been approved by the cabinet.

3- In the Animal Husbandry Department, cows were given to the people of Scheduled Caste category at a subsidy of 90 percent. Similarly, subsidy is given to the people of general category under ‘Ganga Cow Scheme’ through the Dairy Department. In such a situation, it has been decided to merge both the schemes.

4- 429 posts of Livestock Extension Officer are vacant in the Animal Husbandry Department. In such a situation, under the recruitment process, officers are given two years of training. In such a situation, after the selection and training of these officers, it takes four years for joining. Due to which it has been decided that the training time has been reduced from two years to one year.
