Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s three-day visit to Uttarakhand from June 25, security arrangements are tight

Haldwani (Uttarakhand): Vice President of the country Jagdeep Dhankhar is coming to Nainital on a three-day visit from June 25. Preparations have started at the administrative level for the Vice President’s program. The Vice President will attend other programs in addition to the ceremony organized on the completion of 50 years of Kumaon University Nainital.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will interact with the faculty of Kumaon University and address the students at Sherwood College. In such a situation, rehearsals and security standards are being checked by security agencies in various parts of Nainital. IG Nilesh Anand Bharne informed that all necessary arrangements have been made for the security of the Vice President, including more than 400 policemen, three companies of PAC, one company paramilitary force, Intelligence Bureau (IB), ATS and drone surveillance.

He said that additional police force has been deployed at sensitive places and monitoring is being done at every level to ensure that there is no lapse in the security system. The administration’s top priority is to ensure that the Vice President’s programs are conducted peacefully and successfully. The local administration and the university management are also engaged in extensive preparations for hosting the Vice President. Efforts are underway to ensure both security and convenience at traffic arrangements, halts and meeting places in Nainital.

The health department has also become alert regarding the Vice President’s visit. Three doctors from the district will accompany the Vice President at all times. BD Pandey Hospital, Dr. Sushila Tiwari Government Hospital and Soban Singh Jeena Base Hospital have been made safe houses for protocol services. CMO Dr. Harish Chandra Pant said that the health department has made full preparations. Apart from this, Sushila Tiwari Hospital and a private hospital in Haldwani have also been reserved.

Let us tell you that to make the security arrangements foolproof, an important meeting and security briefing of police officers was held on Monday, in which IG Law and Order Nilesh Anand Bharane, IG Kumaon Riddhima Agarwal, SSP Nainital Prahlad Narayan Meena and other senior officials were present.
