Kailash Mansarovar Yatra started after 5 years, CM Dhami reached Tanakpur and flagged off the first batch

Tanakpur: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday flagged off the first group of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from the Tourism Awas Grih in Tanakpur. On this occasion, the Chief Minister welcomed the pilgrims traditionally and presented them souvenirs related to the cultural heritage of Uttarakhand.

The Chief Minister interacted with all the devotees who came from 11 states and warmly welcomed them to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Dhami said that not everyone gets the privilege of visiting Kailash Mansarovar, it is not just a religious ritual, but a path of spiritual and spiritual awakening. He said that by participating in this unique journey, the devotees are taking not only the journey but also the feeling of dedication.

The Chief Minister said that Lord Shiva resides in every particle of the sacred land of Uttarakhand. This journey is no longer just a geographical route, but with the visionary leadership and determination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, it has become a powerful medium to meet Shiva by crossing the boundaries. Earlier the journey which used to take seven days or more, has now become possible in a few hours.

The Chief Minister said that the Uttarakhand government is fully dedicated to making this journey smooth, safe and convenient. Health, accommodation, food, security and other essential facilities have been strengthened at every stop, so that the devotees do not have to face any kind of inconvenience. The Chief Minister prayed to Lord Bholenath for a successful, auspicious and safe journey of all the pilgrims.

On this occasion, all the devotees expressed their gratitude for the cordial behavior of the people of Champawat and appreciated the excellent arrangements of the Uttarakhand government to make the journey memorable and safe.
