Operation ‘Kalanemi’ will be run against impersonators who cheat in the name of religion, CM gave instructions

Dehradun: Gods and goddesses reside in every particle of Uttarakhand, this is the reason why Uttarakhand is known as Devbhoomi. But many times it has also been seen that some people disguise themselves as saints and sages and cheat people and play with their emotions in the name of Sanatan Dharma. In view of which, now the Uttarakhand government has decided to start Operation ‘Kalanemi’ against such fake impersonators. For which CM Dhami has given strict instructions to the officials.

Such cases have come to light from many places including Haridwar-Rishikesh in Uttarakhand, where anti-social elements are cheating people, especially women, by disguising themselves as saints and sages. This is not only hurting the religious sentiments of the people, but also harming the image of social harmony and Sanatan tradition. In view of which CM Dhami has instructed that if a person of any religion is found doing such work, then strict action will be taken against him.

It is mentioned in mythology that the demon ‘Kalanemi’ tried to mislead by disguising himself as a saint. Similarly, today many ‘Kalanemi’ are active in the society who are committing crimes in religious guise. CM Dhami said that the state government is fully committed to protect public sentiments, the dignity of Sanatan culture and maintain social harmony. Those who spread hypocrisy in the name of faith will not be spared under any circumstances.
