Madhya Pradesh: IAS Officers Vikas Mishra & Alok Kumar Singh Take Crucial Roles in Chief Minister’s Office

Bhopal: In a notable administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government on Friday, July 11, 2025, posted IAS officer Vikas Mishra (IAS 2013 batch, MP cadre) as the new Deputy Secretary to the Chief Minister.

Mishra was earlier serving as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Planning, Economics and Statistics. This transfer marks an important step in enhancing the administrative machinery within the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

Alok Kumar Singh Given Addl Charge as Secy to the CM

Simultaneously, Alok Kumar Singh (IAS 2008 batch, MP cadre), who is currently serving as Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Marketing Federation, has been assigned the additional responsibility of Secretary to the Chief Minister.

This dual role underscores the government’s trust in Singh’s capability to handle critical administrative functions alongside his existing portfolio.
