Voting for the first phase of Panchayat elections continues, Dhami appeals to the people of the state to participate in the democratic process

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has appealed to the people of the state to actively participate in the democratic process for the voting to be held under the three-tier Panchayat elections. He said that panchayats are the foundation of rural development and the participation of every voter in these elections is very important. The Chief Minister said that the strength of democracy depends on the awareness and participation of the voter. Development schemes are conducted in rural areas through the three-tier Panchayat system.

The Chief Minister has appealed to the voters of the state, especially the youth, women and senior citizens, to strengthen democracy by reaching the polling stations in maximum numbers. He said that every vote of every voter can play a decisive role in shaping the future of the state.
