CM Dhami talked to Atul, who drove a horse and mule at IIT Madras, gave this assurance

Dehradun: Atul, a resident of Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, has not only fulfilled his dream by working hard, but has also made his future bright. Atul, who drives a horse and mule, has reached IIT Madras. Atul Kumar has secured 649 rank at the all India level in IIT JAM exam 2025 on the basis of his hard work. After this, Atul has got admission in IIT Madras. Seeing Atul’s success, everyone is getting inspired, while on Wednesday night, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke to Atul over the phone and congratulated him.

Atul has reached Chennai on 21st July itself. Atul will study MSc Mathematics at IIT Madras. Earlier, after doing high school and intermediate, Atul did BSc from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Central University. Atul had to face financial crisis many times while doing BSc. But despite financial constraints, Atul continued his studies, as a result of which today Atul has reached IIT Madras. After talking to Atul on the phone, the Chief Minister said that he has inspired other people with his hard work.

He said that even in normal circumstances, if a person works with determination, then his dreams are definitely fulfilled. Nothing is impossible in life. He further said that Atul has made every Uttarakhandi proud and inspired. The Chief Minister also assured Atul of all possible help. Atul of Rudraprayag district met the expenses of his studies by driving horses and mules in Kedarnath. Along with this, due to his hard work and struggle, he has been selected in IIT Madras. Let us tell you that Atul is a resident of Veeron Dewal village of Rudraprayag district.

Atul comes from a very poor family. Atul’s family consists of parents, a younger brother and a sister. Atul’s elder sister is married. Atul helps his family by driving horses and mules. Also, they are aware about studies. The way Atul has continued his studies in poverty is an inspiration for today’s youth.
