Major Reshuffle in Commercial Tax Dept: Jharkhand Transfers 75 Finance Service Officers; 35 Get Postings of Their Choice

Ranchi: In a significant administrative move, the Jharkhand government has transferred 75 officers from the State Finance Service, including all Commercial Tax Officers (CTOs). Notably, 35 officers have been transferred based on their own representation, meaning they have been posted to locations of their choice.

The Commercial Tax Department has officially released a notification confirming the large-scale reshuffle, which affects CTOs across various districts and administrative zones in the state.

35 Officers Transferred as per Preference

Out of the 75 transfers, 35 officers have been reassigned after the government reviewed and accepted their individual transfer requests. These officers will now assume responsibilities at their preferred locations.
