In the program organized in Dehradun, CM Dhami paid tribute to all the immortal martyrs. During this, CM Dhami said that the conch shell of the warriors of the Indian Army is still resonating with the same speed in the valleys, hills and winds of Kargil. The brave soldiers tied the tricolor on their heads and roared in such a way that the enemy trembled. CM Dhami said that the victory story of Kargil will remain incomplete without the discussion of the brave soldiers of Uttarakhand. In this war, 537 brave soldiers attained martyrdom, in which 75 brave sons of Uttarakhand were there.
CM Dhami said that the heroic saga of the immortal soldiers of Kargil inspires the youth to serve the nation. During this, CM Dhami remembered the Uri attack and the Surgical. He said that the Indian Army has responded to it. After Pulwama, through air strike and now Operation Sindoor, it was told that the families of those who destroy the vermilion of our sisters and daughters are destroyed.

In memory of the Kargil martyrs, floral wreaths were offered to them on the Smriti wall built in Shahid Park in Haldwani. On this occasion, the officials of Sainik Welfare Center, ex-servicemen remembered the indomitable courage and sacrifice of the five soldiers of the district who were martyred in the Kargil war. On this occasion, former Union Minister and Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt also remembered the martyrs and paid tribute to them.
