New Delhi: A total of 18 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from various state cadres and batches are set to retire from service in July 2025, marking a significant transition at the senior levels of Indian policing.

These officers belong to different batches and have served in key capacities across the country. Their superannuation will open up top-tier vacancies in several state police departments and central deputation posts.

  • Madhya Pradesh Cadre: Govind Pratap Singh
  • Maharashtra Cadre: Sukhwinder Singh, A R Shinde
  • Nagaland Cadre: Joseph Hesso, Yanithung Ezung
