Delegation of Nanda Devi Raj Jat Samiti met Dhami, preparations for the Yatra to be held in 2026 were discussed

Dehradun: A delegation led by Dr. Rakesh Kunwar, President of Nanda Devi Raj Jat Samiti met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence. Various points related to the preparations and efficient management of the Maa Nanda Devi Rajjat Yatra to be held in the year 2026 were discussed between Chief Minister Dhami and the delegation.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that various instructions have been given to senior officers at the government level for the safe and successful conduct of the Maa Nanda Devi Rajjat Yatra to be held in the year 2026 and to make it grand. The officers have been instructed to prepare an effective integrated action plan and complete all the preparations by the end of the year 2025.

The Chief Minister said that this Yatra is a symbol of the rich cultural and spiritual tradition of Uttarakhand. All departments have been instructed to work in mutual coordination for its dignified organization. Efforts will be made to connect more and more local folk artists, gram panchayats and voluntary organizations with the Yatra.
