Rescue operation continues in Uttarkashi, Dhami held a meeting with ITBP, NDRF DG and Uttarakhand DGP, instructed officials to restore road, electricity and communication soon

Uttarkashi: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a high-level meeting with DG ITBP, DG NDRF and DGP Uttarakhand Police to review the ongoing relief and rescue operations in Uttarkashi. The meeting discussed the progress of the rescue operation, ground challenges and strengthening coordination between the agencies. The Chief Minister laid special emphasis on quick access to the disaster affected areas, quick rescue of stranded people, deployment of teams in inaccessible areas and heli lifting operations. Along with this, instructions were also given to ensure early restoration of communication, electricity and road connectivity and smooth supply of relief material.
