Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the flag at the main program of the state organized at Parade Ground Dehradun on the occasion of 79th Independence Day. On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored the families of freedom fighters. Along with this, the policemen were also honored.

Flag hoisted at Chief Minister’s residence

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the flag at the CM residence on the occasion of 79th Independence Day. On this occasion, he also administered the oath of national unity.

The Chief Minister wished the people of the state a Happy Independence Day. He remembered the great heroes who made the supreme sacrifice for the freedom of the country and the protection of Mother India. Paying tribute to those who lost their lives due to the disaster in Dharali and other areas of the state, he expressed his condolences to the bereaved families. He said that rehabilitation arrangements would be made in the disaster-affected areas.

The Chief Minister said that India’s acceptance has increased at the global level under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take the country forward in accordance with the dreams of the immortal martyrs. Many historic decisions have been taken in the country under his leadership. The work of reconstruction and redevelopment is going on rapidly in Uttarakhand.
