Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed grief over the suicide of Jitendra Kumar. He expressed condolences by talking to the family members over the phone. He said, strict action will be taken under the relevant sections of the law.
Pauri District Magistrate Swati Bhadoria and SSP Lokeshwar Singh met the family members of the deceased Jitendra Kumar on Friday and apprised them of the action taken so far in the case. Chief Minister Dhami also spoke to the family over the phone. Expressing condolences, he prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
The CM assured the family that a fair investigation of the case will be ensured. Strict action will be taken against the culprits under the relevant sections of the law. He directed the police to investigate the matter thoroughly and promptly. The police have so far arrested five people including accused Himanshu Chamoli from Dehradun in the case.
