An important meeting will be held in the Secretariat Dehradun on August 29, CM Dhami gave instructions

Chamoli: For the last 19 days, the local people, Panda community, businessmen have been agitating against the Badrinath Master Plan, Badrinath Development Authority in Badrinath, the place of faith of crores of Hindus located in Uttarakhand. In view of the seriousness of the situation, the Uttarakhand government and Chamoli administration have become active. An important meeting will be held in the Secretariat Dehradun on August 29. CM Dhami has given instructions.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, talks were held between Badrish Sangharsh Samiti and Chamoli District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari on Friday. Tiwari held a meeting with various stakeholders at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Office Jyotirmath and held positive talks regarding the demands being raised by the local people in relation to the memorandum presented by the Badrish Sangharsh Samiti. The District Magistrate said that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, an important meeting will be held with the Principal Secretary Housing in the Secretariat Dehradun on August 29 on this subject. In which all the concerned stakeholders will be involved. The District Magistrate said that the demands and suggestions of all the parties will be seriously considered in the upcoming meeting. He said that keeping public interest paramount, the presented memorandum will be discussed in detail. He clarified that the administration’s intention is to take all the parties into confidence and take the development work forward. He said that discussions will be held keeping in mind the suggestions of all the parties in the memorandum presented by the Badri Sangharsh Samiti, so that the development work is in accordance with public interest and local interests.

People of Badrish Sangharsh Samiti and stakeholders Praveen Dhyani, Pitambar Molfa and Hotel Association President Rajesh Mehta participated in the meeting. Apart from this, Deputy District Magistrate Jyotirmath Chandrashekhar Vashisht, District Tourism Officer Arvind Gaur, Executive Engineer of PIU Yogesh Mandral, Project Manager INI Ashish Sati were also present.
