Uttarakhand: Order issued to terminate affiliation of personnel with more than 5 years of affiliation period in higher education, will have to come to original posting within 7 days

Dehradun: There has been an order related to deputation regarding Higher Education Department in Uttarakhand, which can create problems for many officers. Actually, the Secretary Higher Education has given instructions to immediately terminate the deputation of such officers, who are affiliated to other departments for 5 years or more. Know what is the reason behind this.

An important order has been issued regarding deputation, external service and affiliation in the Higher Education Department. Under this, instructions have been given to immediately terminate the affiliation or deputation of such officers, who have been away from the original posting for more than the last 5 years. The special thing is that the government has given such officers a week’s time and has instructed them to take charge at the original posting place.

In this matter, Higher Education Secretary Ranjit Kumar Sinha has issued an order and has expected immediate deployment of such officers in the original department. It includes all those officers who are not on their original posting in higher education and are either working in some other department or institution in the state for more than 5 years, or are affiliated to some other department or institution other than deputation.

The government has issued these orders in continuation of the earlier order of the Finance Department. Under which all the departments were directed that the employees serving on deputation or in other departments under the state cannot stay away from the original department for more than 5 years. For this, the Finance Department had clarified various rules point-wise. It was also clarified that how long will be the cooling period for the officers going on deputation once to go on deputation again in this department.

However, even after this order of the Finance Department, many officers are serving in other departments under the representative or state and are flouting the rules of deputation or affiliation of the government. However, the Higher Education Department has now issued an order to ensure 100% compliance of the rules of the Finance Department. In this, apart from the Registrars of various universities, the Director of Higher Education Department has also been informed about the order through letter.
