Uttarakhand rains cause havoc, PM Modi and Home Minister Shah spoke to CM Dhami over phone, know every update

Dehradun: Monsoon is causing heavy damage in Uttarakhand as it leaves. Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar and Tehri districts are receiving heavy rainfall since late night. The rain has caused heavy devastation in the Terai areas. At present, the worst situation is around Mal Devta, Sahastradhara and Tapkeshwar temple of the capital Dehradun. Due to heavy rains, the Tamsa river flowing under the Tapkeshwar temple is also in spate. The bridge built on the temple has been completely washed away. If we talk about Maldevta, then there has been a lot of damage due to rain here too. Many shops were washed away in the flood of water. Rishikesh and surrounding areas are also in very bad condition. Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department had already issued an orange alert for many districts. But hardly anyone had thought that the situation would become so bad. Rishikesh’s Chandrabhaga river is in such a spate that the vehicles passing through here suddenly got caught in the water. Flood-like conditions prevail in the entire Rishikesh. Such a picture of rain was not seen in Rishikesh in the entire monsoon, as the situation of Rishikesh has happened today. Rishikesh Badrinath National Highway has also been completely washed out from many places. NDRF, SDRF and all departments are reaching the spot. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has left early in the morning to those areas of the capital Dehradun, where there has been excessive damage due to rain. Many officials of the capital are inspecting the spot along with CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.
