Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the Sahastradhara Crossing Market in Dehradun on Thursday. During this, he met shopkeepers and local people and stressed on the role of the state in promoting the use of indigenous products and towards a self-reliant India. The Chief Minister said that adopting indigenous products not only strengthens our traditions and local industries but also provides new employment opportunities for the youth. The Chief Minister appealed to the shopkeepers to pay special attention to cleanliness, customer convenience and market management. He said that the government is continuously striving to protect the interests of small traders and is committed to ensuring a conducive environment for business activities. Cabinet Minister Shri Ganesh Joshi and MLA Umesh Sharma Kau were also present on this occasion.
