Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in an awareness program organized in Patel Nagar, Dehradun, to mark the “GST Savings Festival.” During the event, the Chief Minister met with traders and the general public and took feedback on the benefits of reduced GST rates. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new era of economic reforms has begun in the country, and the reduction in GST rates has been a historic initiative to make the lives of all sections of society prosperous. The Chief Minister said that the common people will benefit greatly from the new GST rates, making consumer goods cheaper. He also urged traders to provide complete information to customers about the reduced GST rates. He also called for strengthening the state and national economy by prioritizing indigenous and local products.
Traders and common people expressed happiness over the reduction in GST rates, saying that this new initiative during the Navratri festival has created a lot of enthusiasm in the market and among buyers. This celebration of GST will bring joy to the lives and businesses of the common people during the upcoming Diwali festival.
