Suspense continues over the resignation of this Uttarakhand IAS officer, the matter pending with the government for three months.

Dehradun: Suspense continues over the voluntary retirement application of Uttarakhand IAS officer BVRC Purushottam. More than three months have passed since BVRC Purushottam applied for voluntary retirement, yet the matter remains suspended at the government level.

IAS BVRC Purushottam still has more than 12 years of service left. He is due to retire in 2037, but he applied for voluntary retirement 12 years in advance. IAS BVRC Purushottam had applied for voluntary retirement in May of this year, but no decision has been taken on his voluntary retirement yet.

The important thing is that the formalities related to this officer’s voluntary retirement have not been completed yet. While there is a rule regarding All India Service, voluntary retirement is considered after three months of educational retirement without permission. However, the situation in this case is slightly different. It is reported that no file has been prepared at the government level regarding this matter.

IAS BVRC Purushottam is a 2004 batch IAS officer. IAS BVRC Purushottam cited family reasons for his voluntary retirement. IAS BVRC Purushottam also spoke to ETV Bharat at the time. He stated that he was currently on leave due to family reasons and had applied for voluntary retirement due to family reasons.

IPS Rachita Juyal’s resignation accepted: While suspense continues over the VRS of 2004-batch IAS officer BVRC Purushottam, the Union Home Ministry has approved the resignation of 2015-batch IPS officer Rachita Juyal. Juyal had also expressed her desire for voluntary retirement. The Union Home Ministry has now accepted her resignation, accepting her application. Rachita had applied for VRS approximately three months ago, in June. Currently, IPS Rachita Juyal is serving as SP Vigilance. Significantly, the investigation into the Haridwar Municipal Corporation land scam is also underway under Juyal’s supervision, and Vigilance is also tracing the money trail in this land scam. Following Rachita’s resignation, the investigation will now be conducted under the supervision of CO Vigilance Harshvardhan Suman. Although Harshvardhan was previously handling the investigation, she will now be responsible for the entire investigation.
