The government will not back down from taking decisions in the best interests of students based on the SIT investigation – Pushkar Singh Dhami

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that an SIT, under the supervision of a retired High Court judge, is investigating the cheating case in the graduate-level recruitment examination. The government will not back down if a decision is to be taken in the best interests of students based on the SIT investigation.

Speaking to the media on Friday, the Chief Minister appealed to the youth to decide for themselves who are leading the agitation. They are trying to bring the youth to the streets to further their own interests and politicize the entire issue. There are people who have nothing to do with the youth or the recruitment examination and only want to fulfill their own selfish interests. However, the government is committed to conducting recruitment examinations with transparency and fairness. We will continue to release a calendar for recruitment examinations in the future.

25,000 appointments have been made with transparency, fairness, and without corruption. During the UKSSSC graduate-level recruitment examination, some youth complained about cheating at one center. The state government has decided to conduct an SIT investigation under the supervision of a retired High Court judge. The recruitment process has been postponed for a month.

The government will not back down if it decides to take a decision in the best interests of students based on the SIT investigation. However, under the guise of students, the government is being targeted and politicized. Sanatan Dharma is being insulted by raising slogans of treason. Our youth in Uttarakhand are nationalists. The people of Devbhoomi will consider this and move forward.
