Dehradun: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan visited the Forest Research Institute (FRI) in Dehradun on Friday to review preparations for the main event to be held on November 9th during the Uttarakhand Silver Jubilee Celebrations. The Chief Secretary conducted a detailed review of the preparations for the venue, security arrangements, parking, and traffic management, among others. On this occasion, the Chief Secretary received detailed information about the preparations from the concerned officials.
The Chief Secretary directed that a comprehensive traffic and parking plan be developed in view of the Prime Minister’s program to ensure that the public’s arrival at the event does not cause any traffic problems in the city. Present on the occasion were Secretary Dr. B.V.R.C. Purushottam, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari, and other senior officials.
