Chief Minister presented the State’s Top Achievers Award under the National Business Reform Action Plan

Dehradun: Industry Secretary Vinay Shankar Pandey presented the State’s Top Achievers Award in five key reform categories under the National Business Reform Action Plan 2024 to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

This prestigious award was presented to Industry Secretary Vinay Shankar Pandey by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal at the Udyog Sammelan 2025 held in New Delhi. This Achievers Award was presented to Uttarakhand for achieving the highest achievement in the country in five reform areas: business entry, construction permit enablers, environmental registration, investment enablers, and labor regulation enablers.

Calling it a significant achievement for the state’s ease of doing business, the Chief Minister said that receiving this award at the national level is a matter of pride for the state. This is a result of the state’s continuous efforts towards the Business Reform Action Plan.

He said that Uttarakhand has demonstrated its commitment to sustainable and inclusive development. These reforms aim not only to accelerate investment, but also to maintain ecological integrity and equitable development.

The Chief Minister said that industrial development is becoming a medium for the state’s prosperity and new employment opportunities for the youth. Being ranked among the top states in the country in BRAP 2024 will attract investors to Uttarakhand and provide new impetus to the state’s economic progress. Director General of Industries, Saurav Gaharwar, was present on the occasion.
