Nainital: CM Dhami inaugurates Kaya Ayurvedic College and Research Center, opening doors for employment

Nainital: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived in the Bhujiaghat area during a day-long visit. He was warmly welcomed by BJP leaders and workers. Following this, CM Dhami inaugurated the Kaya Ayurvedic College and Research Center. On this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that Uttarakhand is the land of AYUSH, Ayurveda, and Yoga, where people from all over the world will now come for health, Ayurveda, and wellness.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that the state government aims to develop Uttarakhand as a global hub for health, wellness, and spirituality. He added that the government is establishing two spiritual zones in Kumaon and Garhwal to promote religious tourism as well as AYUSH and Ayurveda. CM Dhami stated that AYUSH universities and institutions are being established in the state, which will provide employment opportunities for the youth and strengthen the state’s economy.

The Chief Minister stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had stated on State Foundation Day that Uttarakhand should achieve global recognition in the fields of health, wellness, and spirituality, and the government is continuously working towards this goal. During the Chief Minister’s visit to Nainital, various cultural programs were organized at the Ayurvedic College and Research Center. A two-day workshop was also held for students, where research scholars presented various research findings and informed new students about the work being done in the field of Ayurveda.

The college inaugurated by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Bhujiaghat, Nainital, will offer students courses in B.A.S. Ayush Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pathology, D.Pharma, B.Pharma, and other fields. Patients will also receive treatment for various ailments. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who arrived in Nainital, stated that the field of Ayush Ayurveda will give Uttarakhand a new identity for tourism, and that those seeking Ayurvedic treatment will come to Uttarakhand from across the country and the world.

This will not only provide treatment to people but will also boost tourism. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state’s clean climate, natural beauty, and abundance of medicinal plants hold immense potential for AYUSH-based tourism (wellness tourism). The government aims to develop Uttarakhand as an AYUSH and wellness tourism hub. To this end, Ayurvedic colleges, Panchakarma centers, yoga and naturopathy institutes are being promoted in the state.
