Regarding industries in Uttarakhand, CM Dhami said, “The government is serious about providing infrastructure.”

Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that the state government is extremely committed to promoting industries in the state and providing them with robust infrastructure. He clarified that the government is continuously working to develop industrial areas, attract investment, and provide a safe and supportive environment for entrepreneurs.

The Chief Minister was meeting a delegation from the SIDCUL Entrepreneur Welfare Society, Pantnagar, at his residence on Saturday. The representatives also congratulated him on the improved industrial climate under his leadership and the state’s silver jubilee.

The Chief Minister stated that favorable policies have been implemented for industries, which have increased new investment opportunities in the state. He stated that the development of the Kichha Khurpiya Park and the progress of the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor will take Udham Singh Nagar to new heights industrially. The development of an industrial smart city and a satellite AIIMS at Kichha Khurpiya Farm is also being accelerated.

The Chief Minister appealed to everyone to promote the tradition of presenting books instead of bouquets at any event. Society President Shridhar Sinha, Patron Ajay Tiwari, General Secretary Gaurav Harish, Vineet Sharma, and other members were present on the occasion.

Law and order will not hinder industrial progress

The Chief Minister has given clear instructions to district magistrates and senior police officers to ensure that entrepreneurs are not harassed at any level. A zero-tolerance policy against corruption is in place in the state, and law and order is being continuously monitored. He informed that many major industrial institutions are expressing their desire to invest in Uttarakhand, and the government is committed to providing them with the necessary facilities.

An international airport will be built in Pantnagar at a cost of Rs 700 crore.

The Chief Minister also said that an international airport is being built in Pantnagar at a cost of Rs 700 crore, for which 900 acres of land has been acquired. The proposed Industrial Smart City to be set up on 1000 acres in Khurpiya will generate investment worth billions of rupees and lakhs of jobs.
