CM Dhami prayed for peace, prosperity, and happiness for the people of the state by offering prayers at the ancient Shiva temple in Lakhamandal

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today visited the ancient Shiva temple in Lakhamandal, where he was given a grand welcome by local people and workers. The Chief Minister performed the ritualistic puja at the temple and prayed for peace, prosperity, and happiness for the people of the state.

16-Point Demand Letter Received—Chief Minister Committed Positive Action

State Minister and Program Coordinator Geeta Ram Gaur submitted a 16-point demand letter to the Chief Minister regarding various local issues in the area. The Chief Minister said that all these demands will be examined seriously and positive action will be ensured.

Addressing the large gathering, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is taking many historic and decisive steps under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that the country’s strictest anti-counterfeiting law has been implemented in the state. The Chief Minister stated that over 26,000 youth have been selected for government jobs in the last 4.5 years with complete transparency and honesty. He added, “These jobs have been awarded solely on the basis of merit and talent.” The government has strictly prohibited activities such as land jihad, spit jihad, love jihad, and forced conversions. The state government is committed to protecting the state’s demographics and cultural values.

Special Emphasis on Cultural Renaissance

The Chief Minister stated that just as the grand temple of Lord Ram was established in Ayodhya after 500 years and the Mahakal Corridor was completed in Ujjain, extensive work is underway for cultural renaissance in Uttarakhand. A special ₹120 crore master plan is being prepared for the region’s famous Hanol Temple, under which this spiritual and historical site will be preserved and developed.

Chief Minister Dhami said that the affection and welcome extended by the people of Lakhamandal was deeply moving for him. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people and stated that the state government is continuously committed to the all-round development of Uttarakhand. MLA Durgeshwar Lal, public representatives from the area, activists, and a large number of local citizens were present on the occasion.
