PRSI delegation pays courtesy call to Chief Minister, extends invitation to National Convention to be held in Dehradun

Dehradun: A delegation from the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), led by Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Naresh Bansal, today paid a courtesy call to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. A formal invitation was extended to the Chief Minister for the National Public Relations Convention to be held in Dehradun on December 13, 14, and 15. On this occasion, the delegation presented the Chief Minister with a brochure for the convention and provided detailed information about the organization’s activities and objectives.

The delegation informed that the main theme of this year’s convention is “The Role of Public Relations in a Developed India @ 2047.” More than 300 delegates from various states across the country will participate in the convention. In light of Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee year, the convention will also feature special sessions on the state’s development journey, achievements, and future prospects.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his pleasure at the convening of the national convention in Dehradun and stated that public relations play a crucial role in achieving the goal of a developed India @ 2047 set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated that public relations can play a significant role in effectively branding Uttarakhand’s tourism, culture, and local products. The Chief Minister also emphasized the need to discuss the positive use of social media, continuous communication with the public, prevention of fake news, and the growing influence of AI in the media and public relations sector.

PRSI Dehradun Chapter President Ravi Bijarnia, Secretary Anil Sati, Treasurer Suresh Bhatt, Convener Siddharth Bansal, members Vaibhav Goyal, Anil Verma, Ajay Dabral, Sanjay Bhargava, and Priyank Vashisht were also present on the occasion.
