Dehradun: For the first time, the National Convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is being held in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. The three-day national convention began today. 1,500 delegates from across the country are attending. Uttarakhand’s culture has been beautifully presented at this 71st National Convention of the ABVP. Artwork depicting the Badrinath and Kedarnath temples has been created in the convention premises. In addition, stalls and exhibitions showcasing Uttarakhand’s culture, including Uttarakhand cuisine, Uttarakhand clothing, and Uttarakhand artwork have been set up to showcase Uttarakhand’s culture.
This National Convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, held at the Parade Ground in Dehradun, attracted 1,500 delegates from across the country. Delegates from other states, visiting Uttarakhand for the first time, are greatly enjoying Uttarakhand’s culture and the artwork created on the campus. Jamuna, a resident of Nepal, said she was visiting Uttarakhand for the first time. She said she was impressed by the traditional colors of Uttarakhand after visiting here.
Sheetu, a resident of Assam, said the ABVP’s national convention is being held in Uttarakhand for the first time, which is why she came to Uttarakhand for this convention. She said she particularly enjoyed Uttarakhandi cuisine. She also comes from a hill region. She said she first went to Haridwar, where she bathed in the Ganga. She then attended the Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh. Assam lacks the Ganga, which is why she yearns to bathe in the Ganga and participate in the Ganga Aarti.
Sheetu said she saw a variety of items, including handicrafts, traditional clothing, traditional jewelry, and hill cuisine, at stalls related to Uttarakhand culture set up on the campus. When she arrived at the venue this morning, she was greeted with local musical instruments, dhol nagada, and local dances, which she enjoyed. She also said Assam has a temple dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya. Uttarakhand is home to the Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines.
Ashwani, a resident of Kerala, said that she is a Kailashite and is feeling very welcome after visiting Uttarakhand. She has had the opportunity to see the various colors of Uttarakhand. Statues of the Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines have been installed here. She is getting a chance to learn about Uttarakhand’s culture.
Chautewa Manang, a resident of Arunachal Pradesh, said that this is his first visit to Uttarakhand. He is exploring the exhibition, which is providing him with information. He said that there are many things to learn here.
