Delhi Car Blast: NIA Raid in Uttarakhand, Imam and 2 Others Detained from Haldwani

Haldwani: The National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is investigating the Delhi Red Fort blast, has received a major lead from Uttarakhand. The NIA has conducted raids at several locations in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. According to Uttarakhand police sources, the NIA team has detained several individuals from Haldwani who appear to have connections to Delhi blast terrorist Umar.

The investigation into the Delhi blast has now reached Vanbhulpura in Haldwani. It is reported that late last night, the NIA, Delhi Police, LIU, and district police raided a mosque. Following this, the team detained several individuals. The NIA team has also taken two individuals with them to Delhi.

According to police sources, when terrorist Umar’s call details were examined in the Delhi blast case, a Haldwani connection emerged. Following this, the NIA team from Delhi arrived in Haldwani and raided a mosque in the Vanbhulpura area.

It is being reported that the NIA has obtained some crucial evidence against the mosque’s Imam, and based on this, the NIA has detained him. In addition to the Imam, another person has also been detained.

As a precautionary measure, security has been increased in the Vanbhulpura area of ​​Haldwani. Additional police forces have also been deployed in the area. Haldwani police are currently refraining from making any official statements. According to police sources, late last night, security agencies, Delhi Police, and district police raided the Vanbhulpura area of ​​Haldwani and detained several suspects who appear to be connected to Umar, the terrorist involved in the Delhi bombings.

In fact, a car bomb exploded near the Red Fort Metro Station in the national capital, Delhi, on Monday evening, November 10th. Eight people were killed in the blast and more than 20 others were injured. A young man from Uttarakhand was also injured in the blast. The investigation into the blast has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The NIA has already arrested several people in connection with the case.
