Haridwar: District Magistrate Mayur Dixit has taken strict action against consolidation employees who have been stationed at one location for a long time in Haridwar district. He has transferred 23 consolidation employees. Taking cognizance of complaints about employees who have been stationed at one location for a long time, the DM has issued orders for the immediate transfer of Assistant Consolidation Officers, Consolidators, Consolidation Accountants, and Junior Assistants.
The employees transferred include six Assistant Consolidation Officers, 13 Consolidators, one Consolidation Accountant, and three Junior Assistants. All of them have been transferred from one location to another.
Issuing the order, the District Magistrate stated that the Chief Minister has clearly directed that officers and personnel who have been stationed at one location for a long time are being transferred to ensure transparency and accountability in administrative work. This will ensure that no officer or employee faces any difficulties or problems for the public who approach them with their problems and work. He stated that complaints were being received from the local public that officers and employees who had been working at one location for a long time were not performing their duties properly. Consequently, the local public’s problems were not being resolved in a timely manner. These transfers were made with the aim of bringing transparency to administrative work.
The DM has cautioned all officers and employees to ensure prompt resolution of the problems of the local public who come to the offices with their problems and work. There should be no laxity or negligence. He has given clear instructions that if any negligence or laxity is observed in government work, and if any complaint is received against any officer or employee, strict action will be taken against the concerned person.
