Chamoli: If the weather cooperates, national athletes will be seen showcasing their skiing skills on the slopes of Auli in January or February next year. The natural slopes of Auli will offer the thrill of the games. Auli has been awarded the hosting rights for next year’s National Skiing Games.
If the weather is favorable, skiers from all over the country will arrive here to showcase their talent. However, the organization of the games will depend on snowfall. If the snow falls on time and in abundance, the games will be held smoothly. If there is less or delayed snowfall, the organization may face difficulties.
Winter Games Association Secretary Ajay Bhatt stated that Auli has been awarded the hosting rights of the Ski and Snowboard Association by the ad hoc committee. The date for the games has not yet been determined. The schedule will be determined after the snowfall. Regional athletes and skiing enthusiasts are excited to once again host a national-level skiing competition in Auli.
