Congress Holds Mega Rally in Delhi Against BJP Government’s Repressive Policies; Thousands of Workers from Uttarakhand Congress Participate

New Delhi: The Congress party is protesting today at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan against alleged vote rigging. Uttarakhand Congress MLAs and thousands of party workers are also participating in this protest. This Congress protest is significant in many ways, as the party has been consistently raising the issue of vote manipulation. Today, a mega-rally was organized at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on the call of Rahul Gandhi, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, and other All India Congress Committee leaders, with the slogan “Vote Thieves, Leave the Throne.”

 

Uttarakhand Media Chairman Rajiv Maharshi stated that this mega-rally was held at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan against the repressive policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party government.  Thanks to the tireless efforts of Uttarakhand Congress President Ganesh Godiyal, Leader of the Opposition Yashpal Arya, Election Campaign Committee Chairman Pritam Singh, Election Management Committee Chairman Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, and other senior leaders, thousands of workers have arrived in Delhi to protest against the Bharatiya Janata Party. The rally included State General Secretary Rajendra Bhandari, Media Chairman Rajiv Maharshi, former ministers Ajay Singh, Rajendra Shah, Vikas Negi, along with all the MLAs and district and metropolitan presidents, and thousands of Congress workers.
