Dehradun: The Congress rally held in Delhi last Sunday has been embroiled in controversy. The BJP alleges that controversial slogans were raised against Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Congress rally. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has criticized the Congress on this issue. The BJP says that the Congress, out of frustration and despair, is resorting to making baseless statements. The Congress also responded to these allegations in its own style.
In fact, the BJP alleges that controversial slogans were raised against PM Modi at the Congress rally in Delhi, on which CM Pushkar Singh Dhami made a strong statement. He said that the kind of language the Congress is using at the behest of its leadership has no place in society or in politics.
He said that whether it was the remarks made about Prime Minister Modi’s late mother or the use of abusive language against the Prime Minister at the Congress party’s rally in Delhi on December 14, it certainly reflects the frustration and despair of the Congress. The way the people of the country are showing the Congress the door even in the states, that is why the Congress is resorting to making baseless statements.
After CM Pushkar Singh Dhami’s statement, Uttarakhand Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal also issued a statement. Ganesh Godiyal clarified that no abusive language was used against PM Modi at the Congress rally held in Delhi on December 14 against electoral irregularities.
Ganesh Godiyal said that abusive language is never used against anyone from any Congress platform. Only BJP people do such things. He alleged that the BJP has been notorious for gathering some people and sending them to such rallies so that the people sent to the rallies can make remarks against the Prime Minister or his late mother.
Godiyal said that this is not the work of the Congress but a tactic orchestrated by the BJP. He clarified that if something were said from a public platform, the Congress party would certainly react, but it’s not the Congress’s job to respond if BJP members get someone to say something in the streets and alleys. If the Chief Minister were focused on his work, he would be addressing the state’s pressing problems, but instead, he’s preoccupied with who said what about the Prime Minister.
