CM Dhami participates in ‘Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep’ program, dedicates development projects worth Rs 77.25 crore to Almora

Almora: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a multi-purpose camp organized in Tarikhet, Almora district on Monday, under the “Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep” campaign. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with the local people and also inspected the stalls set up by various departments. In this camp, eligible people were benefited from various government welfare schemes, and public grievances were addressed on the spot.

During the program, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 32 development projects worth approximately Rs 77.25 crore in Almora district. This includes the laying of the foundation stone for 9 schemes costing Rs 47.85 crore and the inauguration of 23 schemes costing Rs 29.40 crore. The Chief Minister also made several important announcements for the development works in the Ranikhet assembly constituency.

Addressing the thousands of villagers present at the camp, Chief Minister Shri Dhami said that the government is continuously striving to make all administration-related work and services accessible to the public in their own areas. For this, most of the government services have been made online, and multi-purpose camps are being organized from time to time to ensure quick resolution of public problems on the spot. The government has launched the “Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep” campaign to bring governance and administration directly to the common people. The Chief Minister urged people to take maximum advantage of the camps organized at the Nyaya Panchayat level under the campaign and asked them to share their problems and suggestions without hesitation, so that the government and administration can resolve them quickly and effectively.

The Chief Minister said that concrete steps are being taken to stop migration from the hills and to promote the local economy and tourism. As a result of these committed efforts, the state is setting new records in various sectors. The Migration Prevention Commission’s survey report has recorded a significant increase of 44 percent in reverse migration.
