Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami takes a stroll in Ranikhet, interacts with tourists

Ranikhet. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami went for a stroll in Ranikhet on Tuesday. He reached Gandhi Chowk from Mall Road, which is surrounded by mixed forests.

He interacted with tourists who had come to the tourist town to enjoy the fresh air, escaping the pollution-ridden national capital, Delhi. The tourists described the mountains as a reservoir of pure air, to which the Chief Minister said, “Welcome to Devbhoomi (Land of the Gods).”

Meanwhile, Dhami visited the tea stall of Rajendra Singh Negi, a resident of Pilkholi, who runs a tea shop at Gandhi Chowk. He enjoyed a cup of tea along with a “phen” (a type of pastry/samosa).

He discussed market business, tourism business, and other issues with senior businessman Ajay Babli, who was present there. Businessman Babli emphasized the need to increase tourism activities in Ranikhet.

After inquiring about the well-being of the local people, Chief Minister Dhami left for the KMOU station under tight security. After reaching Kumaon Lodge, the CM’s interaction program with Agniveer soldiers is scheduled.
