Nainital: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived in Nainital on a two-day visit. In Nainital, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the Gurdwara and paid his respects, reverently remembering the great martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru, and his four sons, Baba Ajit Singh, Baba Jujhar Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh, and Baba Fateh Singh, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas (Brave Children’s Day).
The Chief Minister said that the sacrifice of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh is a unique and unparalleled chapter of courage, devotion, and sacrifice, not only in the history of India but in the history of the entire world. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement to celebrate Veer Bal Diwas to honor the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas is a true tribute to their sacrifice. This decision will play a significant role in keeping the stories of the bravery, valor, and courage of the Sahibzadas alive for future generations.
The Chief Minister said that the brave sons of Guru Gobind Singh, at a young age, displayed extraordinary courage and made the ultimate sacrifice for the protection of religion, truth, and justice. This sacrifice inspires the new generation with courage, valor, and patriotism. It gives us the strength to remain vigilant and dedicated to our duties.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid his respects at the Gurdwara Sahib and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the country and the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is the duty of all of us to pay homage to the unparalleled sacrifice of Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas.
CM Dhami said that both Sahibzadas sacrificed their lives for the protection of their religion, culture, and country. They accepted being bricked alive but did not compromise on their faith at any cost. Their sacrifice is a source of inspiration for future generations. The country and the world should learn from this unparalleled courage and sacrifice of the Sahibzadas.
