Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami released the “Paili-Paili Bar” Uttarakhandi song at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday. The Chief Minister congratulated all the folk singers and said that this song will take the development work done by the government to every person. He said that these songs will create awareness in society and a large number of people will be able to learn about the work done for the first time in Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that the decisions being taken by the state government are becoming examples for other states as well. He appreciated the efforts of the folk artists and said that the state government is continuously working for the preservation and promotion of Uttarakhand’s folk culture, language, and traditions.
The Chief Minister said that our state is continuously moving forward in the field of development. Through historical decisions and schemes, convenience is being provided to the common people. Despite various challenges, the state is creating new history in every sector, including ease of doing business, startups, agriculture, reverse migration, and horticulture.
The “Paili-Paili Bar” song mentions the development work done for the first time in the history of Uttarakhand state. The song mentions important and developmental schemes such as the anti-copying law, removal of encroachments on government lands on a large scale, conversion and UCC, promotion of winter tourism and pilgrimage, Adi Kailash Yatra, reverse migration, revenue increase, facilities provided to farmers, and appointments in government services. The lyrics of this song prominently highlight the development work in Uttarakhand and define how the overall development of the state is being carried out. It also attempts to convey the spirit of the government’s current campaign, “Government for the people, at the doorstep of the people,” to every citizen.
This song features the combined voices of prominent Uttarakhand folk singers Saurabh Maithani, Govind Digari, Rakesh Khanwal, Lalit Gityar, Bhupendra Baseda, Manoj Samant, Chandraprakash, and folk singers Khushi Joshi and Sonam. The tune and lyrics were composed by Bhupendra Baseda, and the music was arranged by Lalit Gityar. This song, based on a traditional Uttarakhand folk melody and composed by various singers, is very pleasing to the ear and makes a concerted effort to reach every citizen with the government’s development plans, increase understanding of development work, and provide easily accessible information about development schemes to the public.
