Dehradun: Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the “Government for the People, at the Doorstep of the People” program run by the Uttarakhand government has emerged as an effective example of good governance, transparency, and prompt public service in the state. Under this program, public service camps are being continuously organized in all 13 districts of the state to ensure that the problems of common citizens are resolved at their doorstep. Under the program, a total of 395 camps were organized across the state till January 19, in which more than 3,22,585 citizens participated. Through these camps, a total of 32,746 complaints and applications were received, out of which 22,173 cases have been resolved promptly. These figures clearly reflect the state government’s sensitivity, administrative promptness, and commitment towards public issues. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has clarified that “Government for the people, at the doorstep of the people” is not just a program, but a bridge of trust between the government and the people.
